Currently seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee the effective implementation of U.S. Government, educational entities, and commercial contract requirements for quality control and quality assurance in design and construction activities to achieve the prescribed levels of quality and safety.

- Seeking a Quality Control Manager to ensure compliance with contract specifications and technical requirements by executing and overseeing quality control programs, conducting inspections, maintaining documentation, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, and managing full-life cycle project quality assurance processes.
The Compensation
- $125K - $140K Competitive Annual Base Salary Range, commensurate with experience
The Location
- Fully onsite position based in Ladson, SC, with travel to Washington, D.C. as required

The Role
- Review contract and design drawings, specifications, and documentation; establish full familiarity with project requirements.
- Prepare and adhere to the Contractor’s Quality Control Plan; ensure timely submittals and approvals.
- Execute the Quality Control Program on-site, following specified procedures and conducting three-phase inspections.
- Maintain comprehensive quality control documentation and records, following all security protocols.
- Update “Red-Lined As-Built Drawings & Records” during construction and prepare Final As-Built Documentation post-completion.
- Coordinate material and equipment testing, perform inspections, and supervise testing activities.
- Liaise with clients, project teams, subcontractors, and partners regarding quality control and assurance.
- Develop, document, and maintain quality control standards and objectives.
- Manage submittals, review drawings, and oversee a team of quality inspectors and technicians.
The Background Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or similar; or equivalent experience.
- Ability to pass a Public Trust security background check.
- 10+ years of experience in construction quality control programs; experience on projects over $25M preferred.
- OSHA 30-Hour Outreach Training preferred.
- Experience with U.S. Government projects a plus.
- PMP or similar certification, or completion of USACE Construction Quality Management course, a plus.
- Proficiency with project management tools and software.
- Willingness to work in Ladson, SC, and travel to Washington, D.C., as needed.
- Ability to work night shifts, after-hours, weekends, and holidays for travel or oversight.
