New Grad Residency RN Program - Charleston, SC

Are you a new grad RN looking for a nursing residency program? Well, you've come tot he right place! My name is Caroline and I am here to help.

This is a yearlong residency which begins with a paid classroom/preceptorship program. It allows new graduate nurses to obtain acute care nursing experience through an intensive internship program. Open positions will vary throughout the year, and positions will be offered based on needs of the hospital, but units that typically hire RN residents include:

• Medical Surgical
• Emergency Services (limited)

You will have the opportunity to work in a combination of Med/Surg Units (Oncology, Ortho, Trauma, Neuro, Surgical & General), Telemetry, Stepdown /PCU

Job Requirements

• Current South Carolina RN license or Multi-state Compact RN license (or ability to obtain)
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, within past 1 year
• Program acceptance requires a two year, full-time commitment to the hospital. If a nurse chooses to leave the facility before the 2 year commitment is fulfilled, they may be required to meet a monetary responsibility.
• Self-motivated and strong communication skills required
