Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – CVPICU (Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit)

Location: Charleston, SC 29401

Duration: 13-week contract

Shift:

• 3x12-hour Night shifts

• 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

• Weekend and holiday rotation required

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized critical care nursing to pediatric cardiac patients

• Care for patients with congenital heart disease and complex cardiac conditions

• Manage post-operative cardiac surgery patients, including VAD and heart transplant cases

• Monitor and support patients requiring advanced therapies such as ECMO and CRRT

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary pediatric cardiac care teams

• Float within scope of practice to meet unit and facility needs

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years Pediatric Cardiac ICU experience

• Strong cardiovascular and pediatric critical care experience

• Eligible for first-time travelers with required experience

• Active South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license

Current Certifications:

• BLS (AHA required)

• PALS (AHA required)

Preferred Qualifications:

• ACLS (AHA)

• Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) experience

Distance Requirement:

• 60-mile local radius

• Local candidates accepted (local rate applies)
