Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting multiple Inpatient Medical Surgical Registered Nurses to support the Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care System located at 109 Bee Street, Charleston, SC 29401. The shift schedules are typically 12-hour days or nights and include working weekends/holidays. • Provide holistic acute-care nursing for adult inpatient Med/Surg patients.
• Assess and care for patients with diverse physical and psychological conditions.
• Administer medications (oral, IM, SQ, IV) and blood products.
• Insert and manage peripheral IVs; maintain central lines.
• Perform phlebotomy and bedside testing.
• Manage isolation precautions & infection control procedures.
• Complete wound care and dressing changes.
• Respond to emergencies and provide BLS/ACLS‑level care as indicated.
• Document care accurately in CPRS/VistA.
• Work 12‑hour shifts, including alternating weekends.
• Care for COVID‑positive or PUI patients as required.

• Current, unrestricted RN license in any U.S. state or territory.
• AHA BLS required; ACLS for critical care.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN or higher preferred.
• At least 2 years of recent direct patient-care experience within the last 3 years (acute inpatient experience).

All candidates must be able to:

• Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
• Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
• Lift up to 20 lbs
• Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
• Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
