Medical-Surgical Float Pool Registered Nurse (MS Float Pool RN)

Charleston, SC 29425

13 week contract

• 3x12-hour night shifts

• 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

• 36 hours per week

• Minimum of 3–4 weekend shifts per schedule

• Holiday rotation required

• Provide direct patient care across multiple medical-surgical units based on staffing needs

• Float between the Main Hospital and Ashley River Tower within scope of practice

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement appropriate nursing interventions

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and hospital protocols

• Document patient care accurately using EPIC charting system

• Minimum of 2 years recent Medical-Surgical RN experience

• Ability to float across med-surg units with varying patient ratios

• South Carolina RN license or Multistate/Compact RN license

• First-time travelers accepted

• BLS (AHA)

• Prior float pool experience

• Experience working in large academic or trauma centers

• Local radius: 60 miles

• Local candidates accepted on a case-by-case basis at 10% reduced bill rate
