Licensed Practical Nurse, Memory Care, part-time, 7am-3pm, every other weekend at Bishop Gadsden. Join our weekend day shift team in Arcadia Memory Care. • Participate in and document admissions and transfers.
• Visit each resident and instruct staff on needs to provide optimum care.
• Interact with staff, residents, families, and physicians to provide optimum care for each resident.
• Observe and document changes in residents’ mental or physical condition and communicate them to the director and physician.
• Respect the rights and privacy of each resident while fulfilling responsibilities for their care.
• Administer medications according to established procedures and in a timely manner.
• Participate with facility quality improvement as directed, as well as chart audits.
• Work independently with proper direction.
• Perform all duties assigned in an effective, timely, and professional manner.
• Check fax and Matrix Care throughout shift for new orders.
• Complete assigned monthly summaries on time.
• Utilize LPN calendar and treatment log.

• Must be licensed by the state of South Carolina and in good standing with a current active license.
• Must have the ability and knowledge to act in a supervisory capacity.
• BLS certified OR willingness to get certified within 3 months of employment.
• Consistently demonstrates professionalism and clinical skills.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct exhibiting a respectful and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, reach, squat, climb, reach above head, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
