• The Director, Surgical Services (RN) will manage the strategic direction of the department and be well supported with a team of Nurse Managers, Clinical Coordinators and Charge Nurses
• The Department performs a variety of surgical procedures including general, CV, orthopedic, neurology, urology, ENT, bariatrics, endoscopy, and robotics
• Position reports directly to a dynamic and collaborative Chief Operating Officer

Qualifications & Requirements for Surgical Services Director (RN)

• Master's degree required (if not in Nursing, must have Bachelor's degree in Nursing)
• RN Active License State of South Carolina
• Minimum seven (7) years of Operating Room nursing experience is required
• Minimum (3) have been in surgical services/operating room leadership experience at Manager level or above in an inpatient surgical services/operating room setting
• Inspirational and results oriented leader
• Able to lead, mentor and empower the staff, identify quality and performance improvement strategies, utilize evidence based practice to improve the overall quality of patient care, collaborate with surgeons and staff to ensure the best patient care, and identify growth strategies
