The Opportunity

Safely operate powered and non-powered equipment related to material movement, including forklifts, stand-up walkies, reach trucks, pacers, and high-reach trucks. Handle cartons by performing pallet picks, case picks, pallet building, and conveyor loading. This role is based within our Sales, Marketing, and Distribution Team.

The Role
  • Perform daily safety checks on all equipment prior to use and report issues for inspection or repair.
  • Follow all safety procedures daily to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Load, unload, and move palletized, slip sheeted, and floor-loaded products throughout the distribution center safely and efficiently.
  • Use Radio Frequency (RF) equipment to identify and move products accurately.
  • Use a walkie-talkie for communication.
  • Assist with box assembly, taping, labeling, pallet building, staging, and other warehouse functions as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs, including assisting in other departments as workflow requires.
  • The Requirements
  • High School Diploma.
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience.
  • Preferred: prior warehouse and powered equipment experience.
  • Preferred:
    Basic Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience (LM/WM).
  • Ability to maintain focus to promote safety and prevent injuries.
  • Must pass Powered Equipment Certification Tests, including written and practical assessments.
  • Ability to stand for most of the workday, squat, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs continuously.
  • Hearing required for instructions, safety tones, and equipment operation.
  • Vision required for operating RF devices and data entry.
  • Effective reading, writing, speaking, and understanding of English.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based warehouse environment.
