The Opportunity
A well-established,
growing commercial flooring contractor is hiring a Director of Commercial Flooring to lead and scale its commercial division. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who can drive growth, elevate execution, and own profitability—while building strong relationships with GCs, property managers, and facility owners across the Carolinas.

What You’ll Own- Lead and grow the commercial flooring division with full operational and strategic oversight
- Create and execute a growth plan (clients, markets, revenue targets, team structure)
- Drive business development and maintain key client relationships
- Oversee estimating, project management, and field operations to ensure consistency and performance
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality standards
- Own division P&L, budgeting, and forecasting (true accountability + influence)
- Bachelor’s degree (required) from an accredited four-year college or university
- 7–10+ years in commercial flooring with leadership responsibility
- Strong knowledge of commercial flooring systems and installation methods
- Track record of success in business development + operations management
- Confident leader with strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or related
- Experience leading large-scale commercial projects
- Familiarity with estimating and project management software
