• The General Manager runs a profitable restaurant and ensures the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
• The General Manager sets restaurant goals, creates a plan to achieve them, and works with his or her leader to establish restaurant goals.
• The General Manager leads a team of Department Managers with specific responsibilities, helps set their own goals, follows up on progress, and provides coaching and direction to improve their departments.
• The General Manager may be responsible for hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to ensure the restaurant has the right team to lead into the future.
• Ideal candidates should have previous General Manager experience running high volume locations. A background in quick service restaurants is strongly desired, or experience in hospitality or retail.
• You must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate owned and operated restaurants.
