Twin Rivers Capital, LLC is an established, successful commercial real estate development and brokerage company based in Charleston, SC. We are seeking an experienced, full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team.
The Maintenance Technician oversees daily maintenance across TRC-managed assets, which include an array of office and retail properties (both single- and multi-tenant) throughout the Charleston, SC MSA. This role ensures the physical condition and functionality of the portfolio are well-maintained. The ideal candidate is dependable, proactive, and able to work independently across multiple sites.
Responsibilities- Perform minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, landscaping, drywall, and painting repairs.
- Conduct regular property inspections and report findings to Property Manager.
- Monitor janitorial and landscaping contractors.
- Track janitorial supplies and stock supply cabinets at properties.
- Complete turnover projects such as repainting tenant spaces upon move-out.
- Install marketing signs and perform other general facility tasks.
- Manage weekly curbside trash and recycling duties.
- Change air and water filters on schedule.
- Support miscellaneous maintenance requests (e.g., drywall repair, parking lot striping).
- On-call availability for after-hours/weekend emergency maintenance issues.
- Performs other duties as needed
- 3+ years of experience in building maintenance and repair.
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks across several properties.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills when working with tenants, vendors, and colleagues.
- Reliable transportation required for travel between retail and office properties across the Tri County area (mileage reimbursed).
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Technical trade school certification preferred.
