Job Description Summary
This journeyman-level position involves performing maintenance and repairs on buildings and facilities at the Medical University of South Carolina. Responsibilities include using power and hand tools for a wide range of corrective tasks within assigned zones and following established trade practices. Work may require occasional supervision, especially for new assignments directed by the Hospital Help Desk, FSC, or Maintenance Manager/Supervisor. The position is designated as Essential Personnel during disaster situations.
