Legal Billing Specialist

Overview

Carolina Legal Staffing is seeking an experienced Legal Billing Specialist. We’re interested in:

• Must be experienced in, background in, law firm billing, or accounting firm billing
• Someone with a working knowledge of Clio
• Understanding of electronic capabilities for automatically sending bill reminders, etc
• Must be in either the Charleston, SC area or Charlotte, NC.
• Sophisticated, client relations oriented
  , high net worth clients receiving complex tax mitigation strategy services
• Some estate tax planning, but more advanced estate tax planning, advanced asset protection, and complex tax mitigation
• Attorneys and paralegals draft the hourly billing fee narratives, but critical this person understands the engagements, engagement letters on file, the work being done, final review, raise questions or concerns, etc
• Able to jump in immediately but also have agility as we grow and able to navigate how things are done today vs how we might do them a year from now and two years from now with more volume, etc
