Primary responsibilities: This full-time position, under the direction of an attorney, will assist with commercial real estate closings, review title and survey, revise and review lease amendments, non-disturbance agreements and other documents; organize and maintain files; and prepare closing documents. This position will also assist our Trusts & Estates team with tasks including drafting and/or preparing powers of attorney, deeds, and other documents as requested.
Qualifications& Experience
The ideal candidate will possess a four year degree (or the equivalent), with at least three years of extensive commercial real estate experience in a paralegal role. Paralegal certification preferred; must have strong communication and problem-solving skills, work independently, be professional, self-motivated and a team player with strong MS Outlook, Word and Excel skills.
Physical Requirements- The work is primarily sedentary.
- It requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
- The work requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- The work at times requires bending, squatting, and reaching, with the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull light weights. Retrieve and replace objects from shelves up to 8 feet high.
- Capacity to lift objects weighing up to 20lbs.
