Corporate Paralegal

Legalpeople is currently working with an international REIT on their need for a paralegal in their North American office. This is a growth position with a well-established, international company, and will offer opportunities to use your corporate skillset in a myriad of ways.

Responsibilities will include (among others):

• Managing the compliance platform,
• Maintaining the database of marketing materials,
• Compliance testing,
• Regulatory filing assistance,
• Corporate and investment structure formation,
• Drafting internal processes,
• Corporate governance for all entities, including statutory filings and board minute maintenance, and
• Light contract drafting/routing.

Our ideal candidate will have a degree, at least 3-5 years of directly relevant experience in corporate law, a willingness to quickly pivot to deal with urgent responsibilities, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work onsite in Charleston, SC.
