We are looking for a professional to manage estates, trusts, wills, and guardianship cases in the Charleston/Low country area. - Meet with potential clients to discuss the legal services provided by the firm and offer advice on appropriate legal actions.
- Draft legal documents, research laws, and organize meetings with clients to establish their future plans.
- Prioritize customer needs to ensure they receive top-level service, maintain regular communication, and collaborate with the Client Experience team.
- Provide creative solutions to clients' legal challenges by analyzing their situations, understanding their requirements, and developing a tailored strategic approach.
- Accurately record and report time spent on hourly rate and flat fee cases promptly.
- Travel to various offices in the area as necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with other attorneys to enhance your practice.
- The ideal candidate should have at least 5-7 years of experience specializing in estate law, demonstrating a high level of expertise in independent tasks.
- Possessing a law license in South Carolina is mandatory, with a preference for dual licensure in North Carolina or Georgia as well.
- Candidates must excel in teamwork, recognizing their responsibilities to colleagues and clients.
- Attention to detail and a willingness to go above and beyond are crucial qualities. Our firm prioritizes client satisfaction, necessitating a commitment to excellence from all staff members.
- Effective and sensitive communication skills are a necessity.
- Experience in estate planning, probate, and trust/estate administration is advantageous. Litigation experience is desirable for handling guardianship and estate litigation cases.
- The ability to efficiently track and bill time is essential for this role.
- We are looking for an individual with a strong work ethic and the initiative to complete tasks independently.
- Negotiation and communication skills are vital for success in this position.
Compensation: $110,000+ yearly DOE
