Job SummaryThis position provides civil litigation and outreach to low-income migrant and seasonal agricultural farm workers. The primary areas of practice will include employment law, occupational safety and health law, and civil rights. The migrant attorney will assist in outreach to farm worker communities, camps, and develop relationships with other organizations serving farm workers. The position requires some evening, weekend, and overnight work to successfully reach the target groups.

- Member of the SC Bar;
- Excellent relationship building, leadership and research skills
- Demonstrated competence in working with diverse clients and client communities
- Fully proficient in written and spoken English and Spanish
- Strong oral, written and presentation communication skills
- A valid driver’s license and a good driving record as use of organization vehicles may be required
- Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office
- Commitment to public interest/poverty law
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other advocates and client groups
- Must be able to travel, especially statewide
