Atlassian Administrator

Break Point Labs is actively recruiting an Atlassian System Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing installation and backend configuration, conducting diagnostic monitoring, troubleshooting system performance issues, and collaborating with other application administrators to ensure the Atlassian product ecosystem remains secure, current, and operating at peak performance for all teams.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate with diverse teams to engineer solutions that improve daily development operations.
• Establish and advocate for best practices using Atlassian development tools with support from the Knowledge Manager.
• Conduct installations, upgrades, and maintenance of Atlassian tools.
• Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) functions, including setting up users, roles, and privileges.
• Deliver end-user training to ensure effective utilization of Atlassian tools.
• Implement and enforce security controls to safeguard environments.
• Perform regular system monitoring tasks, including reviewing system and audit logs, creating documentation, addressing performance concerns, and assessing/adopting new features.
• Optimize and improve Atlassian workflows and identify limitations relative to user requests.
• Manage and maintain the full Atlassian suite of applications, including plug-ins.
• Create and implement standard templates, defining common and reusable workflows, fields, and permission schemes while allowing customization for unique business cases.

Required Experience includes:

• Two (2+) years of experience in managing and configuring Atlassian products (Jira Software, Confluence, Jira Service Management) on‑premise.
• Hands‑on experience with knowledge management systems.
• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Kan Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing complex technical issues.
• Experience supporting technical users and conducting requirements analysis, strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in managing labels and tagging within relevant systems or platforms is preferred.

Must have an IAT‑II certification IAW DoD 8570 AND CND Analyst/Auditor Certification
