This role focuses on building strong connections with team members, motivating others to perform at a high level, and creating buy-in around service standards, operational goals, and guest experience expectations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Serve as a visible leader on the floor, actively engaging with members and guests to ensure exceptional service and satisfaction.
- Build strong relationships with members by learning preferences, anticipating needs, and resolving concerns with professionalism and care.
- Lead, coach, and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver warm, attentive, and personalized service at all times.
- Set and model service standards that prioritize the member experience while maintaining efficiency and consistency.
- Gain team buy-in around service expectations, new initiatives, and evolving club priorities.
- Address member feedback promptly and constructively, using insights to improve service delivery.
- Schedule and deploy staff to meet service demands while maintaining a high level of member engagement.
- Train and develop team members on hospitality standards, communication skills, and service recovery.
- Collaborate with culinary, events, and club operations teams to ensure a seamless member experience.
- Maintain compliance with alcohol laws, safety standards, and club policies.
- Communicate service trends, member feedback, and operational needs to leadership in a timely manner.
- Adapt service strategies quickly in response to changing member expectations or business needs.
- Interact effectively and professionally with all other departments.
- Perform additional duties as requested by the Food and Beverage Director and Director of Club Operations.
- Minimum four (4) years of progressive food & beverage or hospitality experience, including supervisory responsibility
- Prior front-of-house service experience (server and/or bartender)
- Alcohol awareness certification a plus
- Hospitality leader with strong people and service instincts
- Confident, engaging, and empathetic communicator
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Member-focused mindset with a passion for hospitality
- Ability to influence, motivate, and develop teams
- Knowledgeable of all liquor laws as well as company and departmental policies regarding consumption of alcoholic beverages
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Proven ability to motivate and influence teams
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and rotating outlets
