Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 6 months of Level 1 Trauma experience, BLS, ARRT (R)(CT), and SCRQSA certification for a weekend-day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a teaching hospital with Magnet status and Level 1 Trauma designation

• CT department with weekend day shifts, working Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM

• Floating to sister facilities may be required within scope

• Caseload varies per shift and location

• Patient population includes trauma

• Uses Epic for charting; familiarity preferred

• Radiation badge must be supplied by agency

• Must be able to float within clinical scope as needed

• Weekend and holiday rotation required

• Teal top and black bottoms are required as the department dress code

• Pre-start modules must be completed

• Candidates must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be considered at the travel rate; locals accepted at a reduced rate and only on a case-by-case basis

• Returning candidates must have been separated from previous employment at the facility for at least one year

• All requested time off must be included at the time of application and approval is based on unit needs

• Parking requires a one-time $20 fee for nights and weekends

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months Level 1 Trauma CT experience required

• 1 year of previous CT experience preferred

• Current BLS certification is required

• ARRT (R)(CT) and SCRQSA (R)(CT) credentials are required

• Experience with Siemens CT equipment is required

• Epic EMR experience preferred

• Must provide valid SSN and driver’s license for consideration

• A state license must be in hand at time of start; pending licenses not accepted

• License required if applicable

• First-time travelers may be considered if they have previous experience
