Overview
The Outpatient Supply Chain Operations Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring front line supply chain technicians and coordinating with clinical staff to ensure they have appropriate materials to care for patients. The day to day varies and a large portion of this role is problem solving missing/backordered critical materials.
Responsibilities- Review charge report with clinical staff and note missing supplies
- Review Medline report from supply distributor, facilitate daily orders, and work through backorders
- Change par locations for supplies and assist with stockings rooms
- Update product labels
- Meet with clinical staff and supply front line to work through product conversions
- Check emails and communicate with clinicians about status of materials
Must-Haves:
- 3 years of experience in logistics, inventory, supplies/warehouse, or related field
- Experience ordering supplies/equipment/food/medical devices
- Self-starter, eager to learn, organized, problem solver, independent, strong multitasker
- Must possess extremely strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Experience with Outlook and Excel
Plusses:
- Experience working in a hospital/health setting, but not required
- Medical device/material knowledge
Compensation:
$22.00/hr to $25.00/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
