Title: Radiation Therapist
Location: Charleston, SC
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (Monday–Friday, 08:00 – 17:00)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments to adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients in acute and outpatient settings
• Perform CT simulation, tumor localization, and treatment planning support
• Administer external beam radiation therapy and assist with brachytherapy procedures
• Assist with intracavitary and interstitial radiation administration
• Conduct CBCT/kV/mV imaging and chart checks
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans
• Manage emergency situations and utilize rapid response/code teams as needed
• Ensure radiation safety compliance and proper use of PPE and isolation precautions
• Cross-cover different radiation treatment machines as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC/ARIA systems

Required Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience
• Previous charge experience required
• Travel experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted

Certifications (Required/Preferred):

• ARRT Radiation Therapy (SCRQSA) – Required
• BLS – Required
• Radiation badge required (must be provided by agency)
