Electrophysiology Technologist - EP Tech Radiology Cardiology

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday for 40 hours per week

• No on-call or weekend requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience required

• First-time travelers accepted if they have previous experience

• Patient ratio of 1:1 during day shifts

• May float to like units as needed

• 40-hour orientation period required

• Required certifications: ARDMS or CCI, BLS, ACLS

• SCQRSA licensure required

• Epic charting system experience required

• Radiation badge must be provided by agency

• Perform diagnostic catheterizations, permanent pacemaker insertions, pulmonary artery insertions, right heart catheterizations, temporary pacemakers, conduction studies, and AICD insertion/programming

• Work with cardiac ablation, cardioversion procedures, and arrhythmia induction

• Maintain sterile technique and equipment setup

• Perform EKG lead placement and hemodynamic monitoring

• Work in 2-room, 2-bed unit treating adolescent patients

• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week period

• Complete non-billable modules averaging 4 hours prior to start
