Wounded Warrior Companion

At Wellhaven Home Care Charleston, we are committed to providing compassionate and personalized care to our clients. We are seeking a dedicated and caring Wounded Warrior Companion to join our team and assist our clients in achieving their goals and living their best lives. As a Wounded Warrior Companion, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients who have been injured or disabled while serving in the military.

• Provide one-on-one companionship and support to clients who have been injured or disabled while serving in the military
• Assist clients with daily living activities
• Help clients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and social events
• Assist clients with medication management and reminders
• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
• Maintain accurate records of client activities and needs

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with transfers
• Valid driver s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide emotional support and empathy to clients

• This is a part-time position, with flexible scheduling to accommodate clients  needs
• Work may be performed in clients  homes, hospitals, or other community-based settings
