Job Description Summary

Employee, Regular, hourly, pay grade Health-28, scheduled weekly hours 40, work shift Day (United States of America).

The Neurovascular Sonographer I reports to the Neurovascular Lab Coordinator and, under limited supervision, supports the Clinical Neurophysiology Services department, ICE and Medical Center goals. The work includes achieving clinical and quality measures, operational efficiency, financial targets, and meeting population/age‑specific needs of the department.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Clinical Neurophysiology Services department, ICE and Medical Center goals.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited ultrasound program of vascular technology or equivalent.
• Registered as an RVT by ARDMS or as RVS by CCI, and must maintain registration.
• One year of vascular ultrasound work experience.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
