Job SummaryThe Research Project entitled “Integrating Narratives for Social Impact for Guiding Health Transformation (INSIGHT)” will utilize population data sources to analyze associations between cancer outcomes, social vulnerability, and workforce factors in South Carolina to identify high-priority areas for intervention. The Program Coordinator will manage daily administrative operations of INSIGHT in the areas of recruitment and data collection, collaborating closely with the Project Investigators to execute project metrics and milestones.

- Recruitment of Research Participants (30%) – Assist with recruitment and collection of resiliency research data through key informant interviews and survey implementation. Implement recruitment procedures including patient identification via electronic medical records, mailing invitation letters, and conducting follow-up telephone interviews.
- Conduct Data Collection and Entry (35%) – Collect and enter data into the study database, maintain regulatory files, develop and maintain study databases, and ensure all study-related materials are maintained following regulatory protocols.
- Disseminate Study Outcomes (25%) – Work with researchers, clinicians, and patients in clinical and community settings to disseminate study outcome data; assist with organizing meetings with Regional Health Network Representatives and community stakeholders.
- Coordinate Routine Study Operations (10%) – Assist with preparation of meeting minutes, programmatic reports, and presentations; meet weekly with research leadership for strategic planning and progress updates.
- Knowledge of computer-based information systems such as Microsoft applications and programs.
- Ability to present information effectively in both written and verbal form.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, collaborative, personable, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
A high school diploma and four years of relevant program experience. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required program experience.
Physical RequirementsAbility to perform job functions in an upright, seated, mobile, indoor, and occasionally outdoor environment. Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. and perform repetitive motions with hands/wrists/elbows and shoulders.
