Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist II – responsible for providing treatment and intervention for patients with speech, voice, language, communication, swallowing and related disabilities. Services are provided to Pediatrics & Adults, Inpatient and Outpatient, with a focus on the Adult Acute Care population.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
- 2–4 years of related work experience.
- Mobility & Posture – standing, sitting, walking continuous; climbing stairs infrequent; kneeling infrequent; bending at waist continuous; twisting waist frequent; squatting frequent.
- Manual Dexterity & Strength – pinching operations frequent; gross motor use continuous; firm grasping continuous; fine manipulation continuous; reaching overhead frequent; reaching all directions continuous; repetitive motion continuous; balance & coordination frequent.
- Lifting & Force – lift/carry 50 lbs unassisted infrequent; lift/lower 50 lbs from floor to 36” infrequent; lift up to 25 lbs overhead infrequent; exert up to 50 lbs force frequent (e.g., transfer 100 lb patient = 50 lbs force).
- Vision & Sensory – maintain corrected vision 20/40 continuous; recognize objects continuous; color differentiation continuous; depth perception continuous; peripheral vision continuous; hearing acuity continuous.
- Work Environment – effective stress management continuous; rotating shifts frequent; overtime as required frequent; latex safe environment continuous.
