Behavior Technician/RBT - FT/PT

We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a passion and desire to make a difference in the life of children with autism in Asheville, North Carolina. Services may be provided in clinic or Home and Community-based settings.

Responsibilities:

* Provide home, community and clinic services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

* Introduces safe and appropriate replacement behaviors and reinforcers.

* Follows the treatment plan goals and interventions utilizing sound judgment and seeks out appropriate consultation.

* Collects behavior data including and records data in Central Reach after each session.

* Participate in training and clinical supervision.

* Work with and under the supervision of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts

Education, Experience and Other Requirements:

* Required:

40 HR RBT Course or Registered Behavior Technician Certification (RBT)

* Required:

Valid driver's license and transportation

* Preferred:
High School Diploma, Bachelors or Master's degree in the Human Service Field with a current RBT Certification

All non registered BTs are required to obtain their RBT within 60 days of hire.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative and not all inclusive. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear and frequently required to stand; using hands and fingers;
Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 25 lbs. may also be required.

Working Environment:

* Travel between client's homes will be required.

* Must be available to work afternoons and evenings until 6:30 pm

Pay Rate: up to $26 hourly.
