Speech Language Pathologist; SLP - Charleston, SC

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an elementary school in the Charleston, SC area, with a contract duration through early April and potential extension through the end of the school year. This role supports students in developing communication skills in an educational setting.

Moncks Corner, SC (Elementary School)

Full-time, 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week

ASAP (ideally starting January
5) through April 3, with potential to extend

Schools closed on January 19, February 16, April 610, and May 25

Deliver speech and language therapy services to support student needs

Manage an established caseload with no current requirement for makeup sessions

Collaborate with educators and support staff to create effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports

Ensure compliance with licensing and school policies

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• Current South Carolina SLP License required
• Experience in school-based SLP settings highly desirable
• Candidates who are Clinical Fellows (CF) may be considered if supervision is provided by the staffing company and their license is active
