Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role as a Medical Physicist at the Medical University of South Carolina located in the Charleston, South Carolina Metropolitan Area. As a Medical Physicist, you will be responsible for executing day-to-day tasks related to medical physics, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to the advancement of healthcare technologies and treatments.
Qualifications- Proficiency in medical physics principles and practices
- Experience with radiation therapy equipment and procedures
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in medical physics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Master s or Ph.D. in Medical Physics or related field
- Certification by the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Medical Physics is preferred
