Overview
The Housing Services Officer role is a client facing position which supports the delivery of the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing's housing program and plays a vital role in supporting client-centered services to individuals and families who seek housing assistance or reside in public housing.
Accountabilities- Assess client's needs and provide advice on housing options from a range of established policy, procedures and standards.
- Prepare routine cases with well established procedures and represent the Department at Victorian Civil Administrative Tribunal (VCAT).
- Apply early intervention strategies to sustain tenancies.

Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa. Work eligibility will be checked as part of the recruitment process.
Preferred candidates will be required to complete pre-employment screening, including a national police check and misconduct screening.
