Investment Banking Summer Analyst (Healthcare)

Located in Charleston, SC, AMB’s investment banking group combines a wide array of services and capabilities with the passion, responsiveness, and focus of a boutique firm. We offer some of the most advanced tools in the industry, and our clients engage in close, working relationships with our team. We provide services primarily to the healthcare services sector and our capabilities range from sell-side advisory, buy-side advisory, merger advisory, and performance improvement.

Our analysts support multiple deal teams immediately upon beginning the analyst program.

• Conducting industry, market and company‑specific research
• Performing financial analysis and financial modeling
• Assisting in preparation of transaction marketing materials, including pitch books, teasers, confidential information memorandums and management presentations
• Providing support to members of the investment banking group and other duties as assigned

• Demonstrated maturity, integrity, and the ability to perform in an entrepreneurial environment, both individually and as a team player
• Positive attitude and a curious nature
• Strong proficiency in MS Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Solid aptitude of quantitative and analytical skills, including the ability to create and analyze financial statements or a demonstrable willingness to learn these activities
• Proven ability to excel academically at a high level, regardless of field of study
• Superior organizational and time management skills, and the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced work environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, problem‑solving, interpersonal and relationship‑building skills
• Ability to shine as a self‑starter in a boutique, entrepreneurial environment and “wear many hats” over the course of the analyst program
• Previous investment banking or other finance/accounting/consulting internship desired, but not necessary
