Overview
This position will focus on the analysis and design of water and wastewater infrastructure to include gravity and pressure sanitary sewer mains, water transmission mains, and pumping systems. The successful candidate will be leading the technical execution and delivery of projects and tasks ranging from water and wastewater system assessments and master planning, asset inventory and management, water/wastewater hydraulic studies, water/wastewater transmission main extensions, pump station design, design and preparation of construction documents, and construction administration.
Responsibilities- Lead the technical execution and delivery of projects and tasks related to water and wastewater infrastructure.
- Perform water and wastewater system assessments and master planning.
- Manage asset inventory and asset management programs.
- Conduct hydraulic studies for water and wastewater systems.
- Plan and design water/wastewater transmission main extensions and pump stations.
- Prepare construction documents and oversee construction administration.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Agricultural Engineering, required
- Education: Master’s Degree is a plus
- Experience: 4 - 8 years of work experience in a similar position
- DESIRED
SKILLS:
Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred - Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of and experience with design of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure, such as collection systems, pump stations, and closed conduit systems
- Software: Proficient use of hydraulic modeling software such as PCSWMM, EPANET, and WaterCAD
- GIS: Extensive knowledge and capabilities with ESRI ArcGIS Pro, Survey 123, and Field Maps
- CAD: Detailed experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D software for preparation of construction documents
