Wastewater Treatment Technician

Xylem is looking to bring on multiple Wastewater Treatment Technicians to report to our newest expansion in Charleston, SC.

The Wastewater Treatment Technicians will be responsible for the on-site operation, service, and maintenance of our wastewater treatment equipment. Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person, but candidates with previous experience maintaining or operating wastewater systems, and/or those with a South Carolina Grade A-Physical/Chemical or higher certification, are especially encouraged to apply.

These positions will cover a facility that operates 24/7 and we will be hiring for all shifts with overtime opportunities and occasional weekends.

• HS diploma or equivalent
• Licensing through the state of South Carolina as a Grade A-Physical/Chemical or higher
• 2+ years technical experience preferred- industrial or commercial process water experience preferred
• Experience with Microsoft office, including the ability to utilize smart devices
• Ability to work in a high customer facing position
• Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns
• Ability to pass a background check, MVR, and drug screen
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
