A dynamic and growing real estate development group undergoing a strategic rebrand is seeking a degreed Civil Engineer to join their team as Project Engineering Manager to support their continued expansion across the Southeast. This unique opportunity offers the chance to work with an entrepreneurial leadership team on ground-up development projects in the Charleston, SC office.

• Lead Full-Cycle Projects – Step in post-site selection and take ownership through final delivery
• Visible Role – Work directly with executive leadership and make an immediate impact
• Diverse Pipeline – Commercial Projects include retail-focused developments and strategic build-to-suit sites

• Manage all phases of commercial development projects from lease execution to delivery
• Coordinate with consultants, engineers, municipalities, and the tenant’s team
• Oversee utility coordination, offsite improvements, permitting, and demolition
• Develop and maintain project schedules and identify critical path activities
• Ensure quality execution while keeping projects on time and on budget

• 5–7 years of experience in engineering or construction project management
• Bachelors in Civil Engineering with EIT OR PE license preferred
• Exposure to retail development or commercial projects a plus
• Skilled in managing consultants and navigating complex entitlements
• Strong scheduling, coordination, and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment managing multiple projects at once
