Responsibilities

Weston & Sampson is currently looking for an entry‑level Engineer for our Charleston, SC location. The candidate will perform both field and office work within the areas of Water, Wastewater, and Environmental Engineering.

Qualifications

What you’ll do:

  • Assist the Senior Engineer with engineering studies, designs, and specifications.
  • Visit job sites to perform project tasks as directed by the Senior Engineer, including sample collection, drilling oversight, surveying, and construction oversight.
  • Office work may include engineering design, data tabulation, and preparing reports and proposals.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • 0–3 years of experience.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Working knowledge of computer spreadsheets, word processing software and/or CAD is helpful.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in a field setting (drilling oversight, soils logging, construction oversight).
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
