Job SummaryThe ideal candidate is an experienced electrical engineer with a focus on industrial, power, and process work. The role combines project management of multiple initiatives with business development acumen, enabling you to identify and secure new work, set strategic priorities, and expand our presence in the Charleston office.
General Duties- Apply electrical engineering principles to power distribution, generation, and industrial/manufacturing construction.
- Continue to enhance technical competency through experience and a strong work ethic.
- Use SKM/ETAP or other electrical system modeling software.
- Design balance‑of‑plant process electrical systems integrated with chilled water, compressed air, and steam/hot water systems.
- Communicate effectively with architects, owners, and contractors.
- Work independently and as a strong team member.
- Maintain excellent organization and time‑management skills.
- Take on a responsible, leadership role based on experience.
- 7+ years of experience with complex building electrical systems in the industrial and power/process sector.
- Registered Professional Engineering license preferred, not required.
- Experience with Revit.
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills essential for team‑based projects.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills required for simultaneous project schedules.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges.
- Willing to travel.
