Overview

Project Scheduler - Traveling at Sundt Construction. Sundt is a 100% employee-owned contractor, committed to a culture where everyone is a part owner and invested in their work. We seek a Project Scheduler to join our team and provide technical scheduling expertise across project phases from conceptual to close-out.

• Assist in the development of claims by providing analysis of project CPM schedule performance.
• Assist the Project Superintendent with incorporating design conflicts and clarifications into the CPM schedule.
• Assist the project superintendent with CPM schedule management for successful execution, coordinating means, methods, manpower, equipment and material resources.
• Conduct project CPM schedule review meetings at proposal, baseline and update phases.
• Create the baseline schedule based on project information provided by the project superintendent.
• Develop proposal phase CPM schedules from project information from the estimating team and historical database.
• Produce a final as-built CPM schedule at project completion.
• Provide monthly CPM schedule status reports to the general manager for each project.
• Regularly update and maintain the historical CPM schedule database.
• Revise each project CPM schedule weekly based on project superintendent reports.

• Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills.
• Five years or more of CPM scheduling experience in similar types of construction.
• Four-year construction management or engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience.
• Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.
• Thorough knowledge of construction aspects (technology, equipment, methods), scheduling systems, negotiations, engineering and cost control schedules.

• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (steel-toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.).
• May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis.
• May stoop, kneel, or bend on an occasional basis.
• Must be able to communicate via telephone, computer, email or other electronic devices.
• Must comply with all safety standards and procedures.
• Occasionally climb stairs, ladders, etc.; use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis.
• Will interact with people frequently during a shift/work day; may lift, push or pull objects occasionally; may sit, stand or walk short distances for the duration of a shift.
