Job Summary: ICT is looking for a personable experienced Electrical Engineer to join a multi‑disciplined design team. The position is within our Charleston, SC office, assisting in Commercial and Federal projects. This individual must be a registered Professional Engineer in the Electrical field and familiar with state‑of‑the‑art design and various state and local regulations.
Responsibilities:- Knowledge of electrical engineering principles in the field of building construction.
- Capable of increasing technical competency when seeking and executing work in new and evolving market sectors.
- Participate in preparing proposals and presentations to clients.
- Assist in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, studies, permits, and project designs.
- Visit construction site to monitor progress and other duties per contract documents.
- Check all technical work for accuracy.
- Maintain excellent organization and time management skills.
- Communicate effectively with architects, owners and contractors.
- Encourage growth of engineers to take more responsible and leadership roles based on experience.
- PE in Electrical Engineering preferred, not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience and detailed understanding of Revit is a plus.
- 7+ years of design/engineering consulting experience.
