Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer IV to join our team in Charleston, SC. The ideal candidate will bring a proven background in systems engineering, technical leadership, and integration of software, hardware, and web-based products. This position requires strong expertise in overseeing the entire lifecycle of hybrid systems—from requirements and design through testing, deployment, and long-term maintenance.

Education & Experience Requirements :

• Master’s degree in Engineering with 10 years of IT professional experience, OR

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 14 years of IT professional experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation and deployment of hybrid software, web, and hardware products, ensuring compliance with specifications and operational requirements.

• Integrate multiple network operating systems, application programs, and hardware devices through system specification, design, coding, testing, and maintenance.

• Evaluate overall project design with consideration of cost, schedule, technical feasibility, and social implications.

• Provide system-level expertise in identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex technical challenges.

• Prepare and deliver professional briefings and presentations for stakeholders, leadership, and clients.

• Serve as a task lead/manager, coordinating technical teams, allocating resources, and ensuring project milestones are met.

• Maintain compliance with security standards and contribute to risk assessments and mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

• Active Secret Security Clearance (required).

• Demonstrated ability to oversee system development from concept through deployment and sustainment.

• Strong background in systems integration, lifecycle engineering, and systems maintenance support.

• Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and project tasks.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver executive-level presentations.
