- Define, measure, analyze and improve process capability of machining, assembly and test processes.
- Establish manufacturing rates, routings and assist in sourcing parts and components.
- Develop proposals and justifications for new/replacement capital equipment and provide technical assistance to bring equipment online within cost and timing requirements.
- Develop new manufacturing processes or changes using BPS methodologies.
- Work with QMM to determine internal quality procedures and implement them in manufacturing.
- Assess possible bottleneck situations in production processes.
- Provide continuous improvement feedback to all related areas including machining, assembly, test, and QMM.
- Participate in BPS Kaizen events within and outside your area.
- Perform other essential and related peripheral duties as assigned.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited university (CHEA) and pursuing a Bachelor’s with two semesters completed or a Master’s with at least one semester completed in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- Post‑graduate level in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering from an accredited university (CHEA) up to one year accepted.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Knowledge of CNC machining, programming and tooling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
