Responsibilities
  • Define, measure, analyze and improve process capability of machining, assembly and test processes.
  • Establish manufacturing rates, routings and assist in sourcing parts and components.
  • Develop proposals and justifications for new/replacement capital equipment and provide technical assistance to bring equipment online within cost and timing requirements.
  • Develop new manufacturing processes or changes using BPS methodologies.
  • Work with QMM to determine internal quality procedures and implement them in manufacturing.
  • Assess possible bottleneck situations in production processes.
  • Provide continuous improvement feedback to all related areas including machining, assembly, test, and QMM.
  • Participate in BPS Kaizen events within and outside your area.
  • Perform other essential and related peripheral duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university (CHEA) and pursuing a Bachelor’s with two semesters completed or a Master’s with at least one semester completed in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
  • Post‑graduate level in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering from an accredited university (CHEA) up to one year accepted.
  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Knowledge of CNC machining, programming and tooling.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
