Autonomy Staffing is a leading staffing agency providing top talent to companies in various industries. Our client, a well‑established engineering firm in Charleston, SC, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their team.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components for various projects. You will work closely with a team of engineers and designers to ensure the successful completion of projects within budget and on schedule.

• Design and develop mechanical systems and components for various projects
• Conduct research and analyze data to determine feasibility, cost, and performance of mechanical systems
• Create and review technical drawings, specifications, and other engineering documentation
• Collaborate with other engineers and designers to ensure project goals are met
• Conduct tests and experiments to evaluate the performance of mechanical systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the design and development process
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering
  
  Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and practices
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in project management is a plus
