2026 Summer Development Engineering Co-Op (PS-GH/ENG)

• Support the design and validation of various low-pressure and high-pressure gasoline engine components.
• Assist other departments in the plant (production, quality, etc.) when development related tasks arise.
• Perform tear‑downs of field return/development tested components to expose internal failure locations and analyze surface conditions.
• Document tear‑down investigations through presentations and/or reports and present results.
• Coordinate and conduct design‑related testing.
• Analyze, interpret, and present testing data.
• Create scripts to automate repetitive tasks.

• Interest in automotive background.
• Mechanical background with general understanding of materials.
• Experience with Matlab and CAD.
• Programming experience (Python, JavaScript, etc.).
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Teamwork ability.
• Knowledge of mechanical drawing, geometric dimension & tolerance.

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university, majoring in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Materials Science; at least one semester completed.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
