Experienced Certified Special Education Teacher Needed – Remainder of 2025–2026 School Year

Amergis Staffing Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team for a full-time, in-person role. This opportunity is for the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year and offers competitive pay and full benefits.

• Contract Length:
  Through end of 2025–2026 school year (approx. 25 weeks)

• Schedule:
  
  Monday–Friday, 37.5–40 hours/week

• Classroom Overview:
  Autism-focused classroom in an alternative school setting

• Student details: 3 students (2 high school, 1 middle school)

• Behavioral expectations:
  Students present aggressive behaviors; one student elopes

• Ideal candidate:
  Experience in high-behavior classrooms and alternative school environments

• Active U.S. SPED Teaching Certification in one of the following:

• Intellectual Disabilities

• Emotional Disabilities

• Multi categorical

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)

• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience (preferred)

• CPR certification (if applicable)
