**** Job Description
** The Center for Global Health Program Coordinator II supports the transition, integration, and engagement of international faculty, scholars, students, and visitors to the university and the U.S., and prepares students and trainees for global health education abroad experiences.  The position serves as a central resource for advising, guidance and connecting individuals to campus and community services. This role also develops and delivers pre-departure programs—including workshop, resource materials, online modules, and handbooks—to ensure safe, ethical and culturally informed global health fieldwork.  

Reports to the Executive Director, Center for Global Health.  
** Advising & Transition Support - 25%
*** Advise and support the successful transition of international faculty, scholars, students, and visitors to the university and to U.S. culture. Serve as a central point of contact, providing guidance and connecting individuals to resources related to cultural adjustment, transportation, housing, health and well-being, academic support, ESL services, and community engagement.
* Conduct needs assessments to identify, develop and deliver customized programs including in-person workshops, online resources and written guides.
* Lead collaborative efforts with campus entities to offer an integrated experience that helps international faculty, students and scholars navigate the university and US culture (e.g., workshops, webinars)
** Engagement & Outreach – 25%
*** Design, implement, and maintain a year-round portfolio of community-building and cross-cultural engagement programs, including networking events, cultural celebrations, professional development opportunities, and other initiatives that foster belonging and global understanding.
* Plan and coordinate event logistics, collaborate with team members and colleagues.
* Serve as a liaison and collaborate with units and organizations such as the International Student Association and Office of Postdoctoral Affairs
** Global Education Abroad – 25%
*** Develop and implement a formalized pre-departure orientation program to prepare students, trainees, and faculty leaders for global health field experiences.
* Design and deliver workshops in online (synchronous and asynchronous) and in-person formats on key topics such as health and safety, cross-cultural awareness, ethics, and professional expectations. Create and maintain online training modules.
* Create comprehensive handbooks, guidebooks, checklists, and resource materials to support student and trainee travelers.
* Create resources to support colleges and programs with education abroad planning, timelines, considerations.
** Program Evaluation, Data Collection & Reporting - 15%
