The OpportunityRhino Medical is seeking Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians (MD/DO) for an exceptional locum tenens opportunity in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This Level I Trauma Center delivers advanced care in a high-volume, fast-paced environment supported by full specialty backup.
With flexible scheduling, premium compensation, and long-term availability, this assignment allows you to practice top-of-license emergency medicine while enjoying everything the South Carolina coast has to offer.
Assignment Details- Facility Type: Level I Trauma Center | 70-Bed Emergency Department
- Annual ED Volume: 110,000 Visits
- Census: ~2 Patients per Hour
- Shift Times – Physicians:
- 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Primary Need)
- Shift Times – APPs:
- 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- 6:00 PM – 4:00 AM
- EMR System: Meditech
- Admitting Orders: Yes
- Subspecialty Backup: Full Spectrum Support
- Board Certification: ABEM or AOBEM
- Licensure: Active South Carolina Medical License & Unrestricted DEA
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS (ATLS/PALS Preferred)
- Experience: Recent high-volume ED experience (comparable Level I/II trauma preferred)
- Credentialing: Temps Available for Clean Files
