Overview
The Division of Nephrology at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, South Carolina, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible nephrologist to join its faculty and work in a primarily inpatient setting. Clinical responsibilities will consist primarily of inpatient attending coverage for renal patients but may also include activities in the outpatient clinic, telehealth and dialysis settings. This position will be a 0.50 FTE with the Division of Nephrology.

MD or MD/PhD board certified (or board eligible) in Nephrology. Primary duties include inpatient attending coverage for renal patients; potential involvement in outpatient clinic, telehealth and dialysis settings.
Qualifications- MD or MD/PhD board certified (or board eligible) in Nephrology.
- Ability to perform job functions in an upright, seated, and walking/mobile position (frequent).
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions (continuous to infrequent as described).
- Ability to perform job functions from kneeling and in confined/cramped spaces (infrequent).
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs., carry and push/pull objects (infrequent).
- Vision and hearing requirements with continuous to frequent capabilities as described.
- Fine motor and dexterity requirements for repetitive hand/wrist movements (frequent).
