Job Description Summary
Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at MUSC Children’s Health in Coastal Charleston, SC.
Ideal candidates will be:- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- Fellowship in hematology/oncology preferred, not required
- Committed to MUSC’s educational, research, and teaching missions
- Work at MUSC’s Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital, a 250‑bed, state‑of‑the‑art facility in downtown Charleston.
- Provide in house overnight coverage for a 16‑bed step down unit with a vibrant patient population of hematology, oncology, sickle cell, stem cell transplant, and CAR‑T patients as well as support overnight patient and family phone calls for this same patient population.
- Scheduling anticipated to be 14 overnight shifts in a 28‑day cycle
- Join a collaborative and intellectually stimulating team of 9 faculty members and 1 PsychD

(Infrequent) Ability to maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes.
(Continuous) Ability to see and recognize objects close at hand. (Frequent) Ability to see and recognize objects at a distance. (Frequent) Ability to determine distance/relationship between objects; depth perception. (Continuous) Good peripheral vision capabilities.
