The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a full-time Pediatric Neuropsychologist to join the Pediatric Psychology team within the Division of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics, located at a major academic medical center that serves a diverse and medically complex pediatric population across a broad geographic region. Position Highlights
- Provide comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for children and adolescents with a wide range of neurological, medical, and developmental conditions.
- Preference for candidates with experience in the neuropsychological assessment of children with sickle cell disease and cancer/brain tumor histories including those undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, and/or bone marrow transplantation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including oncology, neurology, hematology, and other pediatric subspecialties, to support integrated care.
- Join a collaborative, interdisciplinary team of seven licensed psychologists working alongside developmental-behavioral pediatricians, social workers, nurse practitioners, and other dedicated professionals.
- Participate in the supervision and training of psychology interns, postdoctoral fellows, and other learners within the division. Contribute to the APA-accredited Charleston Consortium Psychology Internship Program (Program Info).
- Doctoral degree in clinical psychology or school psychology from an APA-accredited program.
- Completion of an APA-accredited internship and a postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology.
- Experience conducting neuropsychological evaluations with children with complex medical or neurological conditions.
- Eligible for licensure as a psychologist in South Carolina.
