The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a Pediatric Hospital Medicine (PHM) physician to join our team in suburban Charleston, SC. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the launch of a brand-new, 16-bed community-based inpatient unit dedicated exclusively to pediatric care.

• BC or BE physicians in Pediatric Hospital Medicine, Medicine-Pediatrics or General Pediatrics.
• Excellent clinical skills, experienced with efficient, direct, family-centered patient care.
• Strong commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based medicine.
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical record platform.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support certified (training available).

• Care for a diverse group of lower acuity pediatric patients.
• Collaborate in co-management of surgical and subspeciality patients.
• Consultation support via Telehealth with the subspecialist physicians of MUSC.
• Provide care in a newly opened pediatric medical unit.
• Dedicated new attending call room.
• No nursery or delivery call required.
• Emergency Department consults limited to new admissions only.
• Nocturnist and weekend practitioner positions available.
• Full-time and part-time opportunities.
